There are 2 ways, Turn on storage sense and go through its settings to delete the temporary files and this what everyone will tell you.
The best way is to use a open source software named - “WinDirStat” - this shows on each drive which files are holding up how much space by color graphic.
If you don’t require those files you can double click and delete them. It won’t allow you to delete system files which anyhow you can’t delete - so no tension.
Many times many old uninstalled software were taking GBs of spaces, or my screen recording videos hidden - I could clean them up all and free up lots of spaces.
