Is self preparation enough for UPSC?

What I feel, coaching is not at all necessary. I myself took coaching which I found absolutely waste of time, except few things. My friend, now everything is available online. They are of very good quality too. I would suggest you to regularly visit MRUNAL.org, INSIGHTS ON INDIA, IAS BABA, VISION IAS websites.

From these sites, you will also get to know what to read & what not to read. You will get to know which sources you have to follow.

I think best is group study, then your burden would be much lesser. I always have 3–4 friends whom I can discuss anytime.
